These terms govern your use of zeffron.ai and any services provided by Zeffron Systems ("Zeffron", "we", "us"). By using the site or engaging us for work, you agree to be bound by them. If you don't, please don't use the site or our services.
About Zeffron
Zeffron Systems is a product and AI studio based in London, United Kingdom. We design, build, and deploy AI products, MVPs, and bespoke software for founders and operating teams.
Use of the site
You may browse the public pages of zeffron.ai for personal or business research. You agree not to:
- Attempt to access internal tools, the Live Lab demos, or the project board in a way that bypasses authentication.
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest content at a rate or scale that interferes with normal operation of the site.
- Submit forms with false contact information, malicious files, or content that infringes a third party's rights.
- Reproduce or redistribute substantial portions of our content without written permission.
Project briefs and scoping
Submitting a brief is a request for us to consider working with you — it does not create a binding contract. A formal engagement begins only when a written statement of work or proposal is signed by both parties. Until that point either side may withdraw with no obligation.
Intellectual property
On a paid engagement, the work product we deliver to you is transferred upon final payment, with the following carve-outs:
- Pre-existing tooling, libraries, and methodologies we use to do the work remain ours.
- Open-source components keep their original licences.
- You grant us the right to refer to the engagement in our portfolio at a high level, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
All content on zeffron.ai — copy, code samples, illustrations, the Zeffron mark — is © Zeffron Systems unless attributed otherwise.
Confidentiality
Anything you send us in confidence — through the brief form, a call, or shared documents — stays confidential. We don't disclose it outside our team, our contractors bound by confidentiality, or as required by law. The same expectation runs the other way: any non-public material we share with you remains confidential to us.
Fees and payment
Fees, payment milestones, and invoicing terms are set out in the statement of work for each engagement. Default terms when not specified: invoices are payable within 14 days; late balances accrue statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
Warranties and liability
We use reasonable care and the skill of qualified engineers to deliver each engagement. The site and all materials on it are provided "as is" — we make no warranties about uninterrupted availability or fitness for a particular purpose beyond what's required by UK law.
Our total liability under any engagement is capped at the fees paid by you to us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or loss-of-profits damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited under UK law.
Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement on written notice, subject to payment for work already performed. We may suspend access to internal tools or paused work in the event of unpaid invoices after a written reminder.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes to engagement terms apply only with your written agreement.
